Summer Camp
Terms & Conditions

Process of Enrolment, Further information & Terms and Conditions

  1. Once we have received your application form, we will contact you as soon as possible to confirm if you have successfully obtained a place on the program that you wish to join or to answer any questions you have.

  2. We will then send you an invoice for the full amount of the program costs with a payment due date.

  3. Once we have received your payment, your place on the program is secured and we will send you an official receipt.
     

Please note the following information regarding the terms of participation:
 

1. Medical Treatment

The Waldorf Phuket (WP) is authorized to provide medical care and transport participants to medical or dental facilities for treatment. This care includes a physician, hospitalization, surgery, and medications. The participant and the parents authorize WP staff or other medical personnel to render such treatment as they deem necessary for the participant's health.
 

Participants must have International health insurance or Travel medical & health insurance that is valid for the duration of their Summer Camp period.
 

2. Personal Belongings

Participants should not bring money, expensive devices, phones, tablets etc. Although the best possible care will be taken, the school cannot be liable for the loss, theft or destruction of any personal belongings.


3. Photo Release & Publicity

Participants and parent(s) authorize WP, and/or parties designated by WP, to use photos, videos and recordings which may be taken of or include participants, for advertising, display, educational, audiovisual, exhibition, social media, online media or editorial use.


4. Positive Summer Camp Behavior

The group atmosphere is important for several reasons. It creates a sense of community and respect among peers, which in turn helps participants feel more comfortable with one another.

It also helps to avoid conflict and potential danger. If a participant does not adhere to the group atmosphere, they will be asked to leave the program with no refund.


5. Removal from the Summer Camp program

WP reserves the right to send students home immediately if they believe the student is a danger to themselves or others. This includes, but is not limited to, illegal drug use, tobacco use, alcohol, sexual activity, theft, or disregarding instructions. We do not accept students who have a criminal record. If this information comes to our attention during Summer Camp, the student will be sent home immediately with no refund.


6. Payment & Refunds – Please note the following terms:

  1. Discounts will only be applied to Early Bird Phase 1 & 2. Please note that places are secured based on a first come, first served system, and your place is secure once payment is received.

  2. Early bird discounts only apply if payment is received before May 31st for Early Bird Phase 1 and June 30th for Early Bird Phase 2.

  3. Cancellation policies are as follows:
    Minimum 1 month before the program commences – 100% of payment refunded;

Less than 1 month before the program commences – 50% of payment refunded; Cancellations made once the course has started – no refund made.

4. If students wish to change courses once they have started the program, they may do so only if spaces are available. Parents/participants have to notify by Thursday of each week for the following week's program. Refunds or reductions are not allocated for late or non-arrival or early withdrawal.
